Upasana Foundation, established in 2016, is an international service organization for professional global artists and organizations.
By working with and for our membership, Upasana Foundation provides artist and organizations:
Upasana Foundation engages in and facilitates a variety of special initiatives such as Community Outreach, International Collaboration, Workshops, Concerts and Educational programs.
These special initiatives may not serve all Upasana Foundation members directly, but ultimately gather important research and best practices concerning the promotion of global cultural awareness and appreciation.
Upasana Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
We believe that the fine arts are essential to maintaining a healthy society, exemplify the uniqueness and value of a community, demonstrating the infinite possibilities for human expression and potential, and facilitating communication and tolerance across diverse cultures.
Upasana Foundation promotes and encourages global cultural awareness by addressing the needs, concerns, and interests of artists, administrators, and organizations.
Upasana Foundation will facilitate global cultural exchange by providing a strong, diverse membership base and encouraging the membership to actively participate in exchange of ideas, skills and talents.
Upasana Foundation will be accessible to all professional artists through membership and will embrace strategic partnerships on a local, national and international level to increase visibility, relevance and impact.
Upasana Foundation will be known as an international voice for professional artists and organizations within and across cultures.
Upasana Foundation will create value for members through strong core services of convening, advocacy and research that have an international focus and are frequently evaluated.
Upasana Foundations is committed to nurturing and advancing global fine arts through diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity in all aspects of its programming, services and organization.
Cultural fine arts provide expression, celebration, exploration and transformation for all people. Inclusion and equal treatment of all members of the global art community are core values of Upasana Foundation and are central to its mission. Upasana Foundation is committed to diversity in every aspect of its programming and services.
Diversity in this context refers to groups, communities and individuals identified by dance genre or form, race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, religion, age, or disability status. Inclusion means a commitment to making all members of the professional dance community feel welcome and comfortable at Upasana Foundation.
